Happy Belated Mother's Day!

I know I am late with this and please don't blame it on the heart. Yesterday was just a busy busy busy day for this Uberite. Yes, mmmhmmm that too is a word (now).

My wheels didn't stop spinning except at stop lights and signs. Don't get me wrong, I am in no way complaining about it. I say, keep 'em spinning til they spin right off!!!! (well not literally, but yanno what I mean.)

Today though.... TODAY!

Man O' Man. I had one interesting ride after another. Each passenger seemed to enjoy the time spent with me and I truly enjoyed their company as well.

We laughed, we shared information and the tuneage was the perfect backdrop. Yessssss tuneage is a word too. (smiles)

I also learned something today...and so I am passing the information forward.

I learned of a new coffee spot. Not just any ole cup of joe tho. This one sounds very tempting and I am sure I will find my reason to drop in to at least three of the locations that are out there. Three being here in Sacramento and one in Davis.

Where is this place from whence I speak????? I'll tell ya...

It's called Temple Coffee & Tea also known to some as Temple Coffee Roasters. I get the impression that if one were to compare this coffee to any other barista outlet, it ranks with (or surpasses) Starbucks. In reading up some of the reviews, I see some people have said it can be pricier than the above mentioned competitor "but it's worth it."

My passenger that shared this jewel of information with me had all great praises to say regarding Temple Coffee, from the ambiance, to the vast knowledge of the staff - right down to the flavor of the coffee brewed. I was especially happy to hear how this company has a policy/practice called "farm to cup" where they have a hands-on approach to every aspect of the coffee; from the farmer to the bean to the process to the consumer. It's a lot of detail and I won't bore you with it here but if you are interested, I'd say - check out their website and/or Facebook page. Apparently they also have two Twitter Accounts and can be found on Google+, Zomato as well as Yelp.

Did you know that there is a coffee that takes 8 hours to slow drip??????? Ohhhhh MMMM Gheeeeee!!!! Yes good golly Ms Molly there is and this Uberite will be seeking it out - SOON! With two locations downtown, one on Fair Oaks and another in Davis - Oh yeah, there are plenty of reasons for me to check them out!!!!

With this morsel of information, I wish you well and look forward to being a part of your journey - wherever that may take us...
